Reckless Entertainment is proud to announce for the 3rd year, Flint Rock Fest 2008. Coming Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Kearsley Park. This is an all day, all ages FREE family event. From noon to 9:30pm will be 11 local rock bands and a special appearance by Michigan's up & coming national act Dendura. The bands play in the pavilion and there will be food and non-alcholic drinks available. Local businesses will be in the vendor's alley and all the bands will have spaces so you can check out their merchandise. For the 2nd year, Flint Gear Grinders will be hosting a custom car show and have also added a custom truck and bike show to the mix. The Flint Roller Derby Girls will also be on hand. Flint Rock Fest's official MC, is none other than "Ozzy" Rogers, Flint's own Ozzy Osbourne impersonator and writer. Flint's own Banana 101.5fm will be doing a live broadcast at the event. Special thanks to the Flint City Council persons, Sandy Hill and Jim Ananich for backing this event.
