May 6, 2008
Add Review/Comment
The Friends of the Flint River Trail (FFRT), in conjunction with the Safe and Active Flint (SAF) Coalition, invites you to get a sneak peek at a new interactive bicycle education program that was developed first for Flint. This free event will provide an opportunity to meet a nationally recognized expert in active living, Executive Director of the League of American Bicyclists (LAB), Andy Clarke. The FFRT invites bicycle enthusiasts and interested residents to be the first in the nation to experience the new LAB program and learn more about bicycle-friendly initiatives in Flint.

The Greater Flint Arts Council is celebrating community arts and culture with the Share Art Flint Mini Grants program. Apply for a grant and tell us how you want to address serious community issues in creative new ways through the power of arts and culture. We want new ideas from individual artists, emerging organizations and creative arts and culture educators, including those who don't usually apply for grants.
