Spring is here! So, get outdoors and enjoy a day of physical activities and family fun at the CrimKid Classic, which is held at the Flint Cultural Center in correlation with National Museum Day. The CrimKids Classic is a children's running and walking event. Children ranging in age from toddler to fourteen years participate in races and are rewarded with a goodie bag and a finisher's medal. These events are the four-yard "Diaper Dash", 1/4 mile run/walk, 1/2 mile run/walk and the one-mile run/walk. Inflatable rides and a variety of entertainment will be provided while the children wait for their event. The Sloan Museum, Flint Institute of Arts and the Plantetarium will be open all day with free admission. Approximate race times: Diaper Dash.. 11:00 am Toddler, Trot...11:15 am, Mile ... 11:45 am, Mile.. 12:00 pm, One Mile... 12:15 pm. Register before May 17 for early race discounts.
