This day-camp program is coordinated by the University of Michigan-Flint Recreation Center in collaboration with the Flint Cultural Center Corporation and the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs. Camp programs help meet educational needs for parents (great hours for parents that work) while children are experiencing a unique weekly offering of academic, cultural, and recreational opportunities designed to enlighten and inspire their desire to learn! Educational...Safe...Convenient...Enriching...Fun! This week features Longway Planetarium (open to ages 6-11). Investigate plants, bugs, and habitats in the new garden. Older kids will start rock & mineral collections plus discover physical & chemical changes in the classroom. All ages visit the Sky Theater and view a Star Show!
