This day-camp program is coordinated by the University of Michigan-Flint Recreation Center in collaboration with the Flint Cultural Center Corporation and the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs. Camp programs help meet educational needs for parents (great hours for parents that work) while children are experiencing a unique weekly offering of academic, cultural, and recreational opportunities designed to enlighten and inspire their desire to learn! Educational...Safe...Convenient...Enriching...Fun! This week features the Sloan Museum (open to ages 6-11). Learn how to make butter and dip candles while learning about pioneer kids. Older kids use metal detectors, decoders to learn technology history. All ages visit the Buick Gallery and snack bar.
