    The Traveling Museum of Afrikan Ancestry & Research Center is presenting our 10th Annual Keep On Keepin' On Community African American Festival "Sankofa!" (Never Be Afraid to Reach Back and Fetch Your Past), July 25, ~ July 26, 2008, both days 12:00~9:30P., at Riverbank Park located in beautiful downtown Flint between S. Saginaw & Beach St., off 1st. Ave. FEATURING: Maurice Davis Blues Revue Sherwood Pea & Friend Sterline Ritchie-Lacy JB III & Friends. A Revue in Motown with The "S Band Blu Mikals' Gospel Singin' & Preachin' KUUNGANA African Dancin' & Drummin' The Spoken Word featuring from Detroit, MI "Sol" (prounced soul) & Flint's own "Theory!" Guest Speakers Urban Health & Awareness Center, providing information and health screening regarding High Blood Pressure & Blood Sugar Levels Visit our "UJAMAA" Market Place Traveling Museum of Afrikan Ancestry & Research Center's display of Famous Afrikan American Civil Rights Leaders FOR CHILDREN: FREE Prizes from Burger King (both days) FREE Back to School Supplies (Saturday Only) Afrikan Goombe Drums making From Detroit, MI Re-enactors & Storytellers Frederick Douglass & Harriet Tubman including "Jumpin' the Broom" Marriage Ceremonies.
