The local American Red Cross is in efforts again to achieve their blood supply goal here at Courtland Center. They have organized a new kickoff of "Give Before You Go" - a strategy to get people to give at least a pint of blood before they head out on their summer vacation. In the U.S., an average of 38,000 units of blood are needed each and every day for numerous reasons, including (but not limited to) surgeries, injuries and transplants. Your generous donation is the primary source of these blood products. Have you wondered what it would be like to save a life? Here is your perfect chance to do so! Please make sure to have an ID available when giving blood (i.e. Driver?s License or Donor Blood Card).
