The "New" McCree Theatre, 322 E. Hamilton Avenue, Flint, will hold auditions for musical, Christmas is Coming Uptown, based on A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, with book and lyrics by Peter Udell and Phillip Rose, music by Garry Sherman, Tuesday and Wednesday, October 14 and 15 at 7:00 p.m. Cast requires 10 males, 10 females, extras, chorus, and dancers, ages 12 - Adult. Interested persons should bring a poem or monologue to read, a verse of a song to sing, and be prepared to participate in some creative movement. Call the theatre at (810) 232-9243 for information.
