Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play in 2005, DOUBT: A PARABLE takes place in the Bronx in 1964. This sensitive yet provocative play centers around the conflict between Sister Aloysius, a traditional, by-the-book nun who presides over the school, and the more laid-back parish priest, Father Flynn, over what Sister Aloysius considers to be inappropriate behavior toward one of the school's new students. Stay for refreshments afterwards provided by FANDANGLES' ADVISORY: Readings in the OFF THE PRESS SERIES are recommended for adults and older teens. These readings often include explicit language and graphic descriptions of a sexual or violent nature and and could be offensive to some viewers.
