Travel back to late 19th-century Paris, where exciting new ideas and discoveries flourished. In the City of Light, artists, composers, authors, inventors and political leaders gathered in cafes where ground-breaking new ideas were born. For the 2008-09 Flint Symphony Orchestra season, Maestro Enrique Diemecke has chosen music from, and influenced by, this transformative period in history. Special Guest- Pablo Diemecke, violin Copland, El Salon Mexico Sarasate, Carmen Fantasy on themes of Bizet Sarasate, Zigeunerweisen Franck, Symphony in D minor
