Featuring Jubilant Sykes, baritone and Flint School of Performing Arts students (This concert is part of the Black Classical Music Family Festival) This evening begins with Michael Daugherty's energetic work, Niagara Falls, a musical ride over the Niagara River, complete with stops at a haunted house and wax museum. Then, you'll enjoy a variety of delightful vocal selections performed by a talented baritone, followed by Vaughan Williams' Concerto Grosso, alternately imposing, humorous and rousing, augmented by FSPA string students. End the evening with another trip, this time a thrilling joy ride through Grofe's Grand Canyon Suite.
