A nation of birds is in crisis: Unhappy with the state of their world, they hold a conference to consider their options. Urged by one of their flock, the Hoopoe, the birds chart a path to find their god. Moments of discovery, reflection, farce and pain suffuse their quest toward self revelation. Based on an allegorical 12th Century Persian poem and told largely through movement, puppetry and music, the lessons resonate down through the centuries for our troubled world. Filled with mystery, splendor, and ritual this is a richly moving and spiritual experience perfectly suited to the spring time holiday season. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Friday, April 10, 17, and 24 at 7:30pm Saturday, April 11, 18, and 25 at 7:30pm Saturday, April 18 and 25 at 4:30pm Advance tickets: $14 adults, $12 children Day of performance tickets: $16 adults, $14 children
