Ladies' Night Out At Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad

Add Review/CommentOn November 19, 2007 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, come out to Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad for a shopping experience that cannot be duplicated in a mall or big box store and get a sneak peek at the holiday lights! Admission is just $5.00 (per person for all ages) and, if you spend $25.00 or more in one of our stores, we will apply that $5.00 admission toward your purchase (does not include tax). Tickets are available at Genesee County Parks- Administrative office and at Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad the evening of the event. Your shopping experience will take you throughout the Village for food, quilt displays, craft demonstrations, free and low cost make-it-and-take-it craft projects, a free ride on the 1912 Parker Carousel, free gifts and live organ music. Register to win prizes that will be given away on the hour and participate in the Warm Up America (WUA) kick-off at the Village. In conjunction with WUA, Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad staff and volunteers will collect and assemble 7'x9' crochet and knitted sections into afghans. You may drop off your sections now at one of the following Genesee County Parks locations during their hours of operation: Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad, For-Mar Nature Preserve and Arboretum, Genesee County Parks Administrative Office or at Ladies' Night Out on November 19. You may also mail your sections to: Genesee County Parks, 5045 Stanley Road, Flint, MI 48506. If you would like to help assemble these afghans, please contact Cindy Kimber, Volunteer Coordinator, Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad, at 810. 249.3855. Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad are located at 6140 Bray Road, Flint and For-Mar Nature Preserve and Arboretum are located at 2142 N. Genesee, Burton.
