    Eight films focusing on Jewish life and culture, sponsored by the Flint Jewish Federation, Jewish Community Services and the Flint Institute of Arts. The festival opens Thursday, April 30, with a gala reception for patrons at 5:30 p.m., followed at 7:30 p.m. by a public screening of the 2008 Israeli film "Noodle." The festival continues with the following schedule: Monday, May 4: Short films "The Hope" and "Soul Tripping" at 5 p.m., then the feature documentary "The Purple Gang" at 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 5: "Nina's Journey" at 5 p.m., and "The Little Traitor" at 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 6: "The Champagne Spy" at 5 p.m., and "Sixty Six" at 8 p.m.
