Winner of both multiple Tony and Academy awards, this fictional account of the sound that changed pop & soul forever is coming to Flint! We are extremely fortunate indeed to share this exciting musical event as we co-produce with our friends at The New McCree Theatre. This show had the best singing in Flint since LaKisha Jones was on American Idol! The New McCree Theater troupe brought a vibrant vocal dimension to the FCP, who are always good, but they can't sing like this bunch. I hope they will join arms again in the future. At the first evening's production the sound amplification system was somewhat week, but that may have improved later. But still the best gig in town! Collapse

It isn't just about the music though. The story also offers glimpses of the behind-the-scenes reality of the entertainment industry. This business side was illustrated best Friday in the show-stopping "Steppin' To The Bad Side." Directed and choreographed by Steven J.Mokofsky and co-produced by Charles H.
