Any visual artist at any level of experience will benefit from this workshop. Artists will learn about opportunities for exhibition, gallery representation, commercial publishing, grants, residencies, teaching positions, corporate sales, government projects, and more. The focus will be on the quality of the presentation materials not on the individual artist's creative style, talent, media or current level of experience. Topics include: - 3 Basic Types of Portfolios - How to use your portfolio - Basic Portfolio Components - Marking the Approach & Standing Out - How to price your work - How to write Cover letter, Artist Statements, & Bios
