Miracle on 34th Street - Dec 4-13, 2009 Adapted by Will Severin, Patricia Di Benedetto Snyder and John Vreeke from the novel by Valentine Davies. Music by Will Severin. Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. Kris Kringle is the personification of good will and holiday spirit. As Macy's holiday Santa, he enchants children and shoppers so completely that he is deemed "dangerous" by his fellow employees. They question his competency and plot to ruin him. Yet, there is always the question...Is there a Santa? A child's belief in Santa and the "magic of the season" is at stake in a climactic courtroom decision. This funny, tender, yet charming story for the entire family is a holiday classic. The December 12th performance will be hosted as a benefit for The Old Newsboys...Let no child be forgotten.
