Add Review/CommentCome join the Flint Cultural Center as the community celebrates the beginning of the holiday season with the annual Holiday Walk. Enjoy the experience of live instrumental and vocal music, artistic and ice carving demonstrations, face-painting, sing-a-longs, caroling, historical exhibits, student exhibits, and laser shows. In the true spirit of giving, Holiday Walk benefits those in our community who are most in need. You can choose a child from the Salvation Army's Giving Tree to provide with a special gift, or donate brand new mittens, hats, or scarves to the North End Soup Kitchen. This free event is scheduled to take place Tuesday, December 4, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., on the Flint Cultural Center Campus along Kearsley Street in Flint. It is a cooperative effort among the following organizations located on the Flint Cultural Center Campus: Buick Gallery, Flint Institute of Arts, Flint Institute of Music, Flint Public Library, Flint Youth Theatre, Longway Planetarium, Sarvis Conference Center, Sloan Museum, and The Whiting, along with neighboring organizations Applewood, the Flint Community Schools, and Whaley Historical House. This wonderful event is made possible by the generosity of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, CARZ 108-f.m., the Flint Journal, Goyette Mechanical Company, Hertz Rental Equipment, and Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.
