The New McCree Theatre is holding auditions for its production, “A Tribute to Motown: An American Story,” written by Charles H. Winfrey, a musical revue that commemorates the legacy of Motown music and those who made this American success story possible. Auditions will be held Monday and Tuesday, March 8 & 9, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. SHARP, at the theatre’s new address 5005 Cloverlawn, Flint, MI. The theatre is seeking male and female actors between the ages of 12 and up. Approximately 20 actors and dancers will be involved. Actor/Singers should come prepared with a song of at least 16 bars, a verse or paragraph of a poem or monologue to read, and an eight-count dance routine. Previews: May 7 – 8, 2010. Regular Performances: May 13 – 29, 2010.
