Add Review/Comment
The “New” McCree Theatre will hold auditions for its production, “Ladies and Gentlemen....Presenting the Gospelettes” a new gospel musical written by Charles H. Winfrey, Monday and Tuesday, October 11 & 12, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. sharp at 5005 Cloverlawn, Flint, MI.
Outstanding vocal ability is required. Six females, 4 males, 4 youth of any gender, & extras needed. Actor/Singers should come prepared with a song of at least 16 bars, a verse or paragraph of a poem or monologue to read, and an eight-count dance routine.
The career of the Gospelettes spanned from obscure backup singers to mega stars on the gospel music circuit. Travel with them through their ups and downs, their lean times, and their turbulent times, as they fight demons from within and without to exalt His name in song.
“Ladies and Gentlemen....Presenting the Gospelettes” will run Previews: November 26 & 27, 2010, at 8:00 p.m. Regular Performances: December 2 - 18, 2010, with performances on Thursday (two for one night) and Friday at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. For more information call the theatre’s box office at (810)787-2200.
