In celebration of the holiday season FYT offers A Christmas Ceili (pronounced kay-lee). Set in an Irish corn barn complete with the aroma of a peat turf fire, you will enjoy a full meal of home-cooked traditional Irish dishes, excellent Irish intoxicants, and the merriment of live entertainment, including a staged reading of Conor McPherson's The Seafarer. Set in Ireland, the play takes place on Christmas Eve in the home of two brothers. As the evening progresses, a mysterious stranger arrives and drives a friendly card game into a high stakes contest. This eerie, darkly humorous tale examines how we face the demons of our past as we struggle to find redemption.
