The FIA will celebrate the opening of its new temporary exhibition, Promises of Freedom: Selections from the Arthur Primas Collection, with a Community Gala.
The Gala will feature a lecture at 6:00pm by Juanita Moore (President & CEO of the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit), followed by cocktails, heavy hors d'oeuvres, live music and a viewing of the new exhibition. The FIA is thrilled to announce that Arthur Primas will attend the evening's event. Primas is not only a revered art collector, but he is also an entertainment promoter who represents actor/director Tyler Perry.
Funds raised support FIA exhibitions, installations and programs.
