Zhang Yimou, best known for the films "Hero" and "Raise the Red Lantern," directed this Chinese film thriller about a noodle shop owner who schemes to murder his adulterous wife and her lover. This is a remake of the 1980s Coen brothers American classic "Blood Simple."
