Have you ever wondered what Michigan’s role in the Underground Railroad and the abolitionist movement was? Well, it is probably more than you realize. Meet Carol E. Mull, author of The Underground Railroad in Michigan for a discussion and signing of her new book. This book is the first to comprehensively look at the abolitionist movement in Michigan. Mull is a founding member of the Michigan Freedom Trail Commission, an historic preservationist and Underground Railroad scholar. This program was rescheduled due to the snow storm on February 2.
