Longway Planetarium (with a walking field trip to Mott Community College)
Join Longway Planetarium as we partner with some of Genesee County’s best teachers! Explore Earth as guest teachers from the Alpha Omega Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society pull out some of their favorite activities! Make some mineral jewelry to wear. Investigate fossils and learn what they can tell us about prehistory. Walk to Mott Community College to meet the Dean of Math and Science and tour MCC’s science facilities. Start your own rock, mineral, and fossil collection to take home. Limited scholarship funds are available thanks to Alpha Omega. Call for details.

Share Art Flint
The Greater Flint Arts Council is celebrating community arts and culture with the Share Art Flint Mini Grants program. Apply for a grant and tell us how you want to address serious community issues in creative new ways through the power of arts and culture. We want new ideas from individual artists, emerging organizations and creative arts and culture educators, including those who don't usually apply for grants.
