On Saturday, June 11 you are invited to join writers from all over Michigan for the second annual Book Bizarre. This is an evening at Flint’s Great Flint Arts Council that celebrates the art of the writer and the books that they create. On hand there will be fifteen authors to speak about and in some cases read from their books in the relaxed atmosphere of one of Flint’s most unique art spaces. The authors will bring copies of t...heir books to the Book Bizarre that will be for sale and there will be ample time for guests to speak to the authors about their careers and their writing.
This is the second Book Bizarre and builds on the rousing success of the first, which filled the Greater Flint Arts Council and became one of the most exciting arts events of 2010 and this year can only get better.
We invite you to come out and join us on June 11 for this special, free event. It won’t be one to miss.
