New members welcome! Join us for a discussion of "Okay for Now" with author, Gary D. Schmidt and the unveiling of the renovated John James Audubon's "Birds of America" display case. This is the Library's largest book and inspired Schmidt's new book. Pages of the book are turned twice a month and it takes about 4 years to go from cover to cover. We will re-open the Audobon book to the first illustration plate. Our local history librarian, Michael Madden will tell how the Flint Public Library acquired this outstanding art book in 1871.
