    From the Mott-Warsh Collection: In the Second Floor Gallery through June -"Images of South Africa." This exhibit features images of Black life in South Africa through the eyes of African and African-American artists. The artists highlighted are Linga Diko, Zwelethu Mthethwa and Edward West. On the Children's Room Back Wall through June: Hale Woodruff Selections from the Atlanta Period.
    Also in the Children's Room in May: Pierce-Sarvis 6th Graders Art Exhibit.
    In the Reading Room Alcoves, June 24-July 30: Civil War Michigan Exhibit. Michigan Civil War veterans photographs, Civil War veterans who served from Michigan or lived in our state after the War on the display as we commemorate the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War.
    In the Second Floor, Upright Cases, June-July: A Flint Childhood Through Books. What were children reading 100 years ago? See these items from the Library's special collections. In the Second Floor, Flat Cases for June -July: "Looking Back in Time With Old Books." Old books and items from the collections of Sylvia Kaake.
    In the Children's Room in June: One World, Many Stories - An exhibit of folktales from around the world.
