Tapology Tap Dance Concert to be Held at The Whiting!

The Tapology Concert is the tap dance extravaganza featuring tap dance in all its forms. Tapology features the hottest names in contemporary tap and some of the most important artists to have graced an American stage in the last 80 years!
The concert features: Honoree David Gilmore, Dianne Walker, Tina Pratt, Cartier Williams, Michela Lerman, Lisa Latouche and Maurice Chestnut, Flint’s own Bradley’s – Bruce, Alexandria, Frances and Cherisse, Quynn Johnson and Natasha Graham return for the performance; and The Tapology Youth Ensemble – the youth group nationally known for precision tap, style and excitement!
The Tapology Concert is an annual tradition of the Tapology Dance Festival for Youth, which offers tap workshops taught by world renowned concert artists from October 28th to October 30th, and is hosted by FIM and Flint’s Cultural Center. Tapology works with youth throughout the State of Michigan year round to nurture creative talents in young people and provide opportunities for them to develop, build resume’s and launch their own career in the arts.

The Tapology Festival is hosted by Flint Institute of Music.
