Enjoy an open house that’s out of this world! U of M-Flint and Longway Planetarium have joined for a night that is sure to make your imagination soar to the stars. Discover how to make a comet, participate in actual astronomy research and take a talking tour of the solar system. At 7:30pm & 8:30pm, head inside the dome and journey to the skies above in a star show entitled Solar System Safari. After the show, if the sky is clear, we will take our telescopes outside the planetarium to look at amazing objects in the sky. Check out planets, the Moon, and star clusters. If you would like to bring your own telescope, you may set it up.
**Please note** Shuttle service from UM-Flint to Longway Planetarium will start at 7:30pm though 9:45pm.
