    From the Mott-Warsh Collection in the 2nd Floor Gallery: "Woven Conversations" through December 30. The exhibit features nationally and internationally known artists. In addition see the gourd commissioned by the Mott-Warsh collection in honor of the Sit-Down Strike. Pewabic Pottery: 8 Panels from Pewabic Pottery Detroit. Ongoing classes available at Flint Institute of Arts (flintarts.org).
    In the Children's Room (back wall through December): "Knowledge is Power: Art and Education" Historical figures and learning skills are the subjects of these prints and drawings. Also in Children's: Rare Books, from the Flint Public Library collection.
    Throughout the Library - Reading Room Alcoves: Kurt Kohl, Local artist: Anime and graffiti-inspired art.
