Smarter Girls Day Camp will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 28 and July 29. The camp hopes to stimulate interest in math and science careers for girls as well as teach them how these skills apply to living a better life. The day camp will offer many hands-on science and math workshops as well as team and personal leadership building exercises.
Smarter Girls Day Camp will be held at Kettering University in Flint, MI. Girls aged 8 to 13 are eligible to participate. The cost for participants is $20 and includes all materials and food. Scholarships for low-income families are available. You should provide your own transportation. Participants must apply by July 20.
