After the Crim Festival of Races enjoy a free concert. The fifth annual Blues on the Library Lawn,” will be held on Saturday, August 25, 6-10 p.m., on the lawn of the Flint Public Library, 1026 E. Kearsley St.
Scheduled performers are the Bay City Blues Band, Harmonica Shah, Lady T, Papa Lee and ?Buster Wylie.
Tent seating is limited. Blankets and chairs welcome. There will be food vendors.
Sponsors are The Flint Public Library, the Friends of the Flint Public Library and WOWE 989Jamz. In addition this activity is supported by the Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs through its Region 5 regranting agency, The Greater Flint Arts Council.
