    Fluxus & Games

Presented by at Flint Institute of Arts

    December 11, 2014

    Fluxus & Games

For his presentation, Joseph Reinsel will look at artists who have used aspects of social engagement within experimental arts practice, primarily Fluxus, and those influenced by their work. Reinsel will show examples from a series of artists and draw connections between games, performance art, and other kinds of interactive systems.

Reinsel is an Assistant Professor of Media Arts and Communication and Visual Arts at the University of Michigan-Flint. He is also an artist who uses new media, video, and sound to explore ideas about architectural space, time, and touch.
