    Wet Paint Day

Artists Viewing at Applewood • 10:00a–3:00p
Reception & Wet Paint Sale at FIA Lobby & Art Sales & Rental Gallery • 5:00p–7:00p

Up to 40 invited local and statewide plein air artists will paint on the beautiful grounds of Applewood (estate of the Charles Stewart Mott families). This event is free to the public to view and visit with the artists as they paint. The signed and framed paintings will then be displayed in the Art Sales & Rental Gallery at the Flint Institute of Arts for a public reception and "Wet Paint" sale. Attendees can meet the artists and purchase their paintings. A $5 entry fee will be charged for the reception.

This will be an exciting day for those interested in watching marvelous scenes being drawn or painted on the spot, meeting the artists, and obtaining a keepsake painting of Applewood.
The Founders Society thanks the Ruth Mott Foundation for making Applewood available to the community and for their generous hospitality.
