    Annual Picnic to raise funds for Adopt-A-Pet

    Adopt-A-Pet of Fenton is holding its 11th Annual Picnic fundraiser on Saturday,
    July 16, 2016 from 3-10 p.m. The event will be held on-site at 13575 N. Fenton Rd., Fenton, MI
    48430, and will help raise money to provide needed services for the hundreds of dogs and cats
    who enter their care.
    The 11th Annual Adopt-A-Pet Picnic offers family-oriented fun, complete with BBQ food and
    refreshments, kid’s activities with a bounce house, beer tent and tours of the facility. Local
    bands including the AllDay MonDay, Ari, Indie Martin, Nikkei Holland, Ha Li and Decayed Grace
    will perform. Fundraising activities include a silent auction and basket raffles including a Chevy
    Volt for a weekend, Vera Bradley merchandise, restaurant and shopping gift cards, lottery ticket
    and wine basket raffle, and more. The event is open to the public and there is a minimum $10
    per person donation taken at the door. The Adopt-A-Pet Annual Picnic is proudly sponsored by
    Pepsi, Forever Young Med Spa, The Cupcake Lady, Fenton Winery & Brewery, Brant Pittsley
    DDS, Kerning Advertising, RW Accounting, Creative Financial Center, Tri-County Times, Wag &
    Purr Elite Pet Boarding, Sulfaro and anonymous donors.

    About Adopt-A-Pet
    Adopt-A-Pet is a non-profit animal center situated on eight acres in Fenton, Michigan, operating
    strictly on donations. Last year alone, the organization found homes for more than 1,000 dogs
    and cats, and helped fix more than 1,500 animals through the subsidized Spay/Neuter program
    and Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) program. Adopt-A-Pet is committed to finding loving forever
    homes for dogs and cats in need of placement, and helping to reduce the amount of animals
