Discover connections between astronomy and Islamic history and culture while exploring moonsighting—the practice of observing the moon to determine the arrival of the new month in the Islamic lunar calendar. As the month of Ramadan approaches, Muslims around the world will sight the moon to greet this special season. $6 adults, $4 seniors (60+), $4 youth (ages 2-11), free for members
Includes 7:00 pm showing of Accidental Astronauts.
Free admission is available for low income families, courtesy of American Muslim Community Services.
