Vertigo Theatrics concludes their 2009-2010 season with the wonderfully entertaining musical Forbidden Broadway. We bet you THINK you know Broadway, every toe tapping tune there is. You?ve seen Phantom, Les Mis, Chicago, Cats!, Mamma Mia, Fiddler on The Roof, Hello Dolly, Man of La Mancha, the list is endless. You even have your ticket stub to prove it too! In this long-running Off-Broadway hit musical revue, Broadway's greatest musical legends meet Broadway's greatest satirist in this hilarious, loving, and endlessly entertaining tribute to some of the theatre's greatest stars and songwriters. Sit back and enjoy the ride as Vertigo's cast takes you down memory lane. Or is it lala land, that place where your dreams meet your memory? This twisted look at Broadways finest stars and hits gives the audience a clue of an actor's sense of humor and how they entertain themselves along with other cast members as they await their time in the lime light. Vertigo Theatrics has been operating inside the beautiful and historic Masonic Temple since 1997, offering dinner theater as an entertainment option in the area. The dinner is catered by the Battiste Families - Temple Dining Room, serving Flint and Genesee County for over 60 years. Ted Valley, Vertigo's Executive Artistic Producer/Director states, "I am humbled with each production by the dedication of the talented performers to bring each show to life, and the audiences willingness to embrace each performance and be transported to different times and places. For them to allow themselves the chance to be entertained with the story, with the performers as well as the director's interpretation of each character proves this area remains a steadfast supporter of live art." Forbidden Broadway by Gerard Alessandrini is produced by special arrangement with Theatrical Rights Worldwide and will be staged: March 18th, 19th, 20th, 26th, and 27th 2010 with Dinner at 7 P.M./Show at 8 P.M. and March 28, 2010 with Lunch at 1:30 P.M./Show at 2:30 P.M.
