Workout, pamper yourself, and shop til you drop! This evening is full of fun and fitness with women in mind. This is a FREE EVENT for Women 16 and older and will be held at the University of Michigan-Flint Recreation Center Thursday, March 20 from 4-8 p.m.! The Flint community and surrounding areas are invited to attend. This event offers women the opportunity to experience many different ways to add fitness into their lives. Classes offered include: hip hop, pilates, kickboxing, zumba, and aqua fitness. A Women’s Marketplace where participants can shop, get holistic health information, as well as learn more about vital community services is also featured. Massage therapy chair massages will also be available at $1/minute. Free goodie bags will be given to the first 350 participants. Hourly door prizes will be drawn throughout the evening, one of which is a 6-month Recreation Center membership as well as items donated by other marketplace vendors. This event coincides with the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days Fundraiser. Daffodil bouquets ($10 each) and in vases ($15 each) will be delivered to the UM-Flint Recreation Center on the morning of the 20th and will be available at Women’s Night Out (while supplies last). Contact the UM-Flint Recreation Center if you would like to support this fundraiser by reserving your bouquet to pickup that evening.
