Original works of art by African American artists living in Michigan. At ARTWALK, we feature a different exhibition each month which takes place the second Friday of every month, we offer live music, catered food and beverages including beer and wine. ARTWALK includes Buckham Gallery, Pages Bookstore and other partners on various months throughout the year all within two blocks in beautiful downtown Flint.

      I was walking downtown Flint when I saw a window full of people and I stopped. Glanced in the window with a supious type of glance went pass the window and came back. I stared into the large oversized... Expand

      I was walking downtown Flint when I saw a window full of people and I stopped. Glanced in the window with a supious type of glance went pass the window and came back. I stared into the large oversized windows and just stood astonished by the number of people in downtown on a nice but chilly evening. There inside where people of many cultures and diverse backgrounds getting along. Laughing, talking, eating, enjoying music and the art. What can I say but wonderful....wonder...ful. A free event with beverages, food, and live music! Unseen in today - but not in downtown Flint. It has taken me a year to post my comments because I didnt know that this site existed either. Flint has it going on from my perspective. I can only thank those who have made this possible. Keep up the good work. I will be back to enjoy the festivities and venture out more and discover more in this community. Thanks for being here and thanks for being so welcoming and inviting.
