The Friends of Modern Art film series at the Flint Institute of Arts presents a ’70s-set comedy-drama from Switzerland.
In 1971, a young Swiss housewife rallies her townspeople to campaign for the right to vote, and end what males in their country termed as “the divine order.” RogerEbert.com has praised this heartfelt comedy-drama (96 minutes, subtitled, not MPAA-rated) as “an exceptionally warm crowd-pleaser of a movie.”
