<p><p>Use edible materials to construct a wonderful and tasty model gingerbread house at Sloan Museum. Use your house as a decoration or as a dessert. Graham crackers, candy and frosting are all provided. Come make a gingerbread house on Dec. 13th from 1-4pm. This event is $3 for the general public and $2 for pass holders, recommended for all ages. Visit the Discovery Center to make and take a winter craft at Sloan Museum. Use safety pins and beads to create a unique holiday pin to wear. December 26th -30th during museum hours, free with admission to the museum and recommended for all ages. December 13th and 20th from 1-3pm, stop at the Longway Planetarium to make a unique Christmas ornament. Ages 10 and up, $3 for general public and $2 for pass holders, 9 and under, $2 for general public and $1 for pass holders. Older kids will use chemicals to copper plate a holiday design on a small piece of galvanized steel and younger kids will use a solution to create a winter background on black felt and then decorate it with craft supplies.</p></p>]]></description>
