St. Cecilia Society
The St. Cecilia Society, which dates back to 1895, is the scholarship affiliate of the Flint Institute of Music, and as such, administers the William C. Byrd Young Artist Competition and provides funds for the total operation of the Competition.
Our mission is to annually provide a competition with performance opportunities, designed to help launch musical careers.
All prize monies are donated through the Society.
