The Ishmel Sisters
Comment on Facebook JA'NEL, JA'SHANNA, AND JARINN'E are the daughters of Kevin and Korinne Ishmel and are now Home schooled of Flint, Michigan. At ages 11, 12, and 14 respectively, these three young ladies are nationally recognized and has influenced the lives of thousands of children and youth. Through their powerful and life changing presentations, The Ishmel Sisters are vastly becoming one of the most remarkable and sought after children/youth talents of our time. Specializing in African American concert music, The Ishmel Sisters reflect the best of the American performance tradition through their uniquely crafted and original presentations. Having only begun singing in April 2007, these three young ladies have sung to audiences in the thousands, made numerous television appearances, and have been the special guests of statesmen, clergy, recording artists, and university educators alike. Under the tutelage of their uncle, operatic baritone and performance educator, Darnell Ishmel, the sisters offer a unique and inspirational message of hope, excellence, and possibility for today's youth.
