Organization

The Art Cafe
Our 501(c)3 grassroots organization is a creative outlet for outsider artists to develop, maintain and facilitate art/media projects with an outreach component. We provide a supportive space for the development, creation and exhibition of works by the local artistic community. Our dream is to reward artists in our community for the creation of their new works and to provide and foster a relationship between emerging and established artists. We also want to raise awareness of Native Arts and Crafts.

Share Art Flint
The Greater Flint Arts Council is celebrating community arts and culture with the Share Art Flint Mini Grants program. Apply for a grant and tell us how you want to address serious community issues in creative new ways through the power of arts and culture. We want new ideas from individual artists, emerging organizations and creative arts and culture educators, including those who don't usually apply for grants.
