It provides information that is in a single convenient online site and offers a calendar of events. geneseefun.com allows you to click or browse to find performances and exhibitions, classes and workshops, venues and artists. geneseefun.com lists what is available at the theater, cultural destinations, and sporting events. It also provides you with date, time, and even maps. So come and have fun in Genesee County!

 

Who is geneseefun.com?

geneseefun.com is a direct result of recommendations from the Communications Task Force of the Community Cultural Plan (CCP), a project administered by the Greater Flint Arts Council. Established in 1967, the Greater Flint Arts Council (GFAC) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is "to be a catalyst of, and advocate for, increased artistic and cultural enrichment in our ethnically diverse community." GFAC strives to promote and celebrate the arts-building new partnerships and to lay foundations of cultural growth for all the arts in our community.

The Greater Flint Arts Council is supported by grants from the Ruth Mott Foundation, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts and the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.

      Enjoy the great outdoors and picture-perfect scenic views at Mt. Holly Ski and Snowboard Area. Come out and test your skills by taking a 350-foot vertical drop trip down Mt. Holly's 18 slopes and trails for beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers. Play more and wait less with Mt. Holly's 5 Rope Tows, 2 beginner friendly Wonder Carpet Conveyors and 7 Chairlifts, all of which can transport over 10,000 skiers and snowboarders to the mountain top every hour. Mt. Holly's Terrain Park will be snowboarders favorite ride this winter. Mt. Holly is open weekdays (Monday through Thursday) from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends and holidays from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. with two daily sessions from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to close. (Slopes open Friday's at 10 a.m. and close Sunday's at 10 p.m.)
