Presented by Flint Jewish Federation and Flint Institute of Music at Flint Institute of Music

Concert and awards ceremony on Sunday the 18th at Flint Institute of Music at 2 pm.  Musicians include Victor Ghannam and Friends (middle eastern music) Dort Honors String Quartet (classical music), Sheldon Low (Jewish Rock), Wanda Degen (dulcimer, hammered dulcimer, autoharp), Brittany DeYoung (harp)

On Saturday October the 17 at 11 AM at Flint Institute of Music a workshop offered by the staff of the Community Resolution Center on non-violent conflict resolution will teach mediation skills and procedures.

On Saturday October 17 at 1 pm a fingerstyle blues guitar workshop will be presented by the Reverend Robert Jones at the Flint Institute of Music.

On Saturday October 17 at 2:30 pm Julie Gold composer of the Grammy award winning song “From a Distance” presents a song writing workshop.  Of interest not just to songwriters but to all writers or anyone interested in meeting Julie and hearing about her creative process.
