Back for the third year in a row, Wil Baptiste (viola) and Kev Marcus (violin) are a string duo from Florida with equal footing in the worlds of classical music and hip-hop. Their new album Sterotypes embodies everything from classics, R&B, and Rap, all while promoting a positive social message. Black Violin, an ambitious and groundbreaking group have been playing together since high school, and with Stereotypes, they take a great leap forward, from admirable rarities to significant innovators. They are joined onstage by a drummer and turntablist.
