2nd Friday ARTWALK happens every month in beautiful downtown Flint 6pm-9pm at Greater Flint Arts Council next door to Halo Burger on Saginaw. Free to the public and great for all ages… good times and and great art are paired with tasty food, delightful drinks, and wonderful music! Get your map for the evening while visiting GFAC and stroll over to other amazing venues to discover the wonders awaiting around the next surprising corner in our fantastic town. Mark your calendars for the 2nd Friday of each month! THEN COME AGAIN WHEN THE GALLERY IS QUIET AND YOU HAVE TIME TO ABSORB THE ART AND ENCOUNTER IT IN WAYS YOU NEVER KNEW POSSIBLE. SEPTEMBER is The Return of the awaited 2016 Flint Festival of Quilts!!! Catch the MTA Bus with the dedicated route to our 13 locations where you will find quilts and more! The Festival always begins on the Thrusday before ARTWALK on the 2nd Friday in September and continues the next day on the following Saturday!!!…Excitement is in the Air as ARTWALK Fun comes once Again and is such a fun part of this festival!!! ARTWALK this September showcases the talents and expressions of Our Home Town Deaf Quilters! Enjoy ARTWALK night and the works of Flint’s three deaf quilting guilds: Deaf Quilter’s United, Deaf Quilting Block, and Flint Deaf Quilters. Also a few deaf friends join the mix for a show whose variety, color and precision sewing will impress the pickiest of all sewers!…These works will be showcased September 8th thru October 7th at Greater Flint Arts Council. Our 2nd Friday ARTWALK opening reception September 9th 6pm-9pm is a gooooood Time For ALL!!! 

Every ARTWALK share a lovely evening with friends and family! This month’s ARTWALK is on Friday, September 9th from 6pm-9pm. Here you’ll find a fun filled night of art, and refreshments! The original works of art up for veiwing all month long, by the deaf quilters, will leave you facsinated and intrigued! Our September  ARTWALK is always a welcome exhibit indeed! Come and see! Get Ready for a Month of Awesomeness!!!

Our Home Town Deaf Quilters exhibiton will be open in addition to the 2nd Friday ARTWALK Monday through Friday 9am-5pm at the Greater Flint Arts Council, 816 South Saginaw Street, next to Halo Burger in Beautiful Downtown Flint, through October 7th.  ALWAYS FREE and open to the public!!!!
