The Friends of Modern Art film series at the Flint Institute of Arts continues with the official programs of the most recent Oscar nominees in the live-action and animated shorts categories. Among the movies to be presented are the respective winners: “Piper,” the wordless Pixar film that took the Academy Award for best animated short, and “Sing,” the live-action winner from Hungary. We will present the animated nominees on Friday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 23 at 2 p.m, and the live-action shorts on Saturday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m.
